My girlfriend has a 2000 Plymoth Neon and the Exhaust Manifold is cracked. I called a Chrysler dealership and the part (stock) is around $600.00. I went to Advance Auto parts and bought an Exhaust Manifold for $120.00 but it won't fit right because it doesn't have the Catalytic Converter built in like the stock part. It will fit on the exhaust port on the actual head of the engine with the exception of not having the Catalytic Converter built in.....

I have an aftermarket UNIVERSAL Catalytic Converter in my basement.

Could I use the Advance Auto Parts Exhaust Manifold and the Universal Catalytic Converter together and it actually work in unisen?

And if I can, how much extra modifications do I need to make to get the right fit to the exhaust pipes?
BTW, I'm not going for the performance mods, I'm just trying to get it to pass inspection (and Emmissions in PA) and last a few more years until she's ready to sell it.
